Hannah Flanagan-Flores is a public outreach expert with more than 10 years of experience in social services, education issues, transportation, business management, and research and analysis.
Hannah has worked on a variety of projects, from supporting California High-Speed Rail alignment definition and Environmental Justice outreach efforts, to promoting older adult wellness programs for Beach Cities Health District. She has developed and implemented strategic community-centered outreach programs that included multi- tiered communications tactics, such as media relations, interagency coordination, collateral development, social media, web-based outreach, and community open houses, where complex programs and processes were explained through story boards, video, and graphic illustrations to diverse communities in several languages.
As an education advocate, Hannah has been deeply involved in the Bellflower Unified School District, where she serves on the Board of Education. Past roles include PTA President, chairperson of the Citizens Oversight Committee for a bond measure and legislation director for the Bellflower Council of Parents and Teachers Associations. These experiences have given her insight into school operations and community communication needs.
Hannah graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and a minor in law and society. Her extensive coursework in criminal justice and public institutions, coupled with training in Title VI and environmental justice compliance provides a solid foundation for working with diverse target populations throughout Southern California.
