Lindsay Ivins joined VMA after serving as a writer, copy editor and designer for newspapers and foundations in Arizona, Idaho and California.
Lindsay graduated from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in December 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication and a minor in U.S. history.
Lindsay interned as a student editorial assistant for the ASU Foundation, writing stories on ASU’s top scholars, professors and programs while she was completing her degree. She was chosen as the Arizona Republic’s only copy editing intern during her final semester, where she edited, fact checked and guided the design of all stories for Arizona’s largest newspaper.
After graduating, she became a copy editor and newspaper designer for the local newspaper in Twin Falls, Idaho, and transitioned that role to Chico, California, where she served as copy editor and lead news designer for 12 daily newspapers throughout Northern California.
Lindsay is also a writer and editor for the Coca-Cola Collectors Club global newsletter and an avid half-marathon runner.
