Nancy Yeang is a strategic storyteller with over a decade of experience, focused on centering community voices and guiding interdisciplinary teams toward shared goals.

She excels in crafting and communicating an organization’s mission, vision, and goals, and engaging audiences through personalized marketing, producing authentic content, and fostering collaboration.

Her career began in education as an English language teacher in Japan and Cambodia, which deepened her understanding of working and living in diverse environments. She later pivoted to writing and served the community in various roles, including a reporter, editor, video producer, and communications specialist at newspapers, universities and a health organization. Nancy has also coordinated public relations workshops and conferences, and groups focused on including all constituencies, which is an extension of her passion for teaching and community engagement.

A RYT 500 certified yoga instructor, Nancy enjoys kickboxing, Muay Thai, and creative nonfiction writing. She has workshopped stories under author Putsata Reang through the literary arts organization Roots, Wounds Words, and Mary Kethya Khuon through a somatic writing workshop intensive. Nancy earned her bachelor’s degree in international relations from UC Irvine and developed her writing portfolio through Creative Nonfiction and Journalism tracks at Chaffey Community College.
